Your pictures are fantastic--a reminder of what a special place the Pantanal is. They would beautifully illustrate a guidebook that you could write for the benefit of us all and as a record of Pantanal wildlife.
As I few from Cuiaba to Sao Paulo after our trip, I was dismayed to see in one view from the plane's window seven major fires burning. I wonder how long the Pantanal can withstand such disturbance.
